What Is Kitchen Cabinet Installation & Replacement?
Cabinet installation and replacement rebuilds your kitchen's storage and layout foundation, whether you're swapping worn boxes for new ones or reconfiguring the layout entirely. For Artesian, SD kitchens, this is often the project that finally solves years of awkward storage and workflow complaints.
Why You Need It
Cabinet boxes that have swelled from moisture, doors that no longer close flush, and shifting due to a settling subfloor all point to problems that get worse with time. Continuing to use damaged cabinetry risks shelves failing under weight or hardware pulling loose from softened wood.
Our Process
1. Measurement and Layout Design
We measure precisely and design a layout around your storage needs, appliance placement, and workflow before ordering cabinetry.
2. Removal of Existing Cabinets
Old cabinets are removed carefully, and we check the wall and floor condition underneath before proceeding.
3. Installation and Leveling
New cabinet boxes are set, leveled, and secured to the wall studs, with doors and drawers adjusted for a flush, even fit.
4. Hardware and Final Adjustments
Hardware is installed, all doors and drawers are tested and adjusted, and countertop templating is coordinated if part of the scope.
What to Expect
Cabinet lead times often determine your overall project timeline more than installation itself, which typically takes a few days once cabinets arrive. We coordinate delivery and installation closely so your kitchen isn't sitting mid-project longer than necessary.
